Spring 2012 Worship Event

The vtONE campus-wide worship event is back in Virginia Tech’s Squires Commonwealth Ballroom on Saturday, February 25th 2012 at 7PM for an evening of worship and prayer.

The theme for this event is Waiting, or “Where is God in the in between?”. God has promised many things in His word. Sometimes the hardest place to be is to know what God has promised but have to wait for it to be accomplished in our lives. Waiting involves trusting He is who He says He is, praying for the grace and strength to make it through the “in between”, and realizing that the promise may not be fulfilled the way we think it will. We hope that you are able to find encouragement and perspective through the prayer times, the message, and the times of worship through music.

We are excited to welcome back Ron Barnard who will be our speaker for the event. He was the campus pastor with Virginia Tech’s Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship for seven years, and he is currently the pastor of Dwelling Place Christian in Christiansburg, Virginia.

We will have a multi-ministry worship team made of people from different ministries/organizations in and around Virginia Tech lead the musical worship for the evening, including EGC (Virginia Tech’s Enlightened Gospel Choir) and Cody Davenport, worship leader for Northstar Church in Blacksburg, VA.

Check out the songs we will be singing at the event:
